• Personally speaking….

Finals are done. School is done. Blogs are getting dusted off. I hope to post at least once a week about some of the things that matter to me -- a young vegetarian woman in Virginia.

About

I work as a web application developer for a non-profit. Not only an adoring fan of web standards and accessibility, I enjoy photography, drawing and cooking. When not working on my skillset, I volunteer as much as possible.

I’ve been a homeowner for a couple of years but the attempts at gardening have proved challenging. I hope to share my attempts at saving — saving money by cooking at home, saving myself by organizing better, or even saving the world by volunteering.

  4. You sure have a beautiful website with such beautiful pictures.

Yes, home depot I thought did a very nice job and were more reliable than any other company or individuals I dealt with. I’m not sure if they were the cheapest, but I didn’t think they were outrageously overpriced.

  5. Zhannacleary, Thank you :) I wondered about the price too. Sounds like it’s worth checking out! Thanks!

  8. Jessica,
Just a note: if you use Twitter, you can follow “denver food recipes” as they are quite good. Actually I follow it too.
