Breakfast and experimentation with eyeballing

Waffles and eggs

It’s a rainy day. I had all sorts of plans today but think I’ll work on the studio instead. On a day like this, comfort food is king so I made waffles and eggs. For lunch, I’ll have the leftover tofu fried rice.

Butter

I started a new stick of butter in the butter tray. When I make scrambled eggs, I melted a small amount of butter in the pan. I was curious how much I use, so used the paper that came around the stick to mark the tablespoon increments. Now, I’ll know with a glance how much butter I use!

This is kind of like filling my dinner bowl with water to see how many cups it holds so that I don’t have to measure my food. Every little bit helps.
